pdurbin I recently read The Design of Everyday Things so that sentiment is on my mind. That said, I agree with this quote from the link: "It is important to choose a nice short noun for this, because it will also be used as an adjective in constructs like 'user name', 'user profile', 'user number' and so on." I think we're stuck with "user".
