saranix I might get in trouble for saying this, but whenever I bring up certain problems with the protocol, the response isn't a technical one, it's "mastodon does it such and such way", and "mastodon is the biggest implementation", one reason why you won't see for example the founder of Hubzilla in these meetings ;-)
