fr33domlover RzR, Idk if there's any agreed standard, but, you could write your message on your phone/laptop/whatever, then encrypt it with the recipient's GPG key, and they'd receive it and decrypt the message on their device. I suppose it's much easier if your Mastodon/whatever client supports encrypting and decrypting message content like that
