Cult i have some question regarding implementation of ActivityPub and what I might have understood.

Cult I am in a situation with like 3 instances of AP, with followers.

Cult like, UserA, UserB and UserC, each one of them is on a different instance

Cult UserA follows UserB, and UserC answer to a note from UserB
#
Cult Instance of UserB 'bounce' the message from UserC to the global inbox of the instance of UserA, but the signin in the header is not important anymore, UserA have no garanty of the authenticity of the note from UserC
#
Cult The instance needs to request the instance of UserC to confirm that the post exists and get the post from there
#
Cult This is normal behaviour ?

Cult I mean, tt seems that mastodon sign the activities (signature.signatureValue) but this is specific to Mastodon ?
