hey there! socialhub.network admin here :) I received a message from @dansup you're interested in using it for activitypub discussions / official AP forum?
#
dansup
hey mxb!

not related - have you ever considered creating a w3 community on matrix and bridging your IRC channels on there using matrix bridge feature? That would be super convenient for matrix users (as there are a lot of them in AP world right now)
#
mxb
that would be super convenient while you don't need to do absolutely nothing to maintain it
#

in the link from the topic, the join the group link is malformed
#
Cult
it asks for a login before the redirection to the create account page
#
Cult
ok, looks like I need a w3c account :]

Is there a mastodon IRC?

About development?

I'm curious about how the follow button flow works.
#
stevenroose
Like it asks you to put your Mastodon account and then somehow finds your own instance's follow page.

Is this all through the "type": "application/activity+json" webfinger item?

In RDF is there a name for stuff that can be either an IRI or a blank node identifier (but not a literal)?
#
csarven
fr33domlover: Nothing comes to my mind, but 'identifier' probably communicates that. Saying non-literal identifier (or resource, or name) is probably clear enough too.
#
csarven
It depends a bit on context it is used eg who is reading it? After all, a literal can of course function as an identifier too.
#
csarven
A property like dcterms:identifier expects a literal value. So, .. I don't suggest to take what I said above overly precise or too literally =)

csarven
Best is to indicate what it is as opposed to what it is not. So, saying 'IRI or blankNode' is clear IMO.
