melody I dunno, the link source thing feels wrong to me, it seems like well-behaving software should stop me from trying to reply at all, and ill-behaving or malicious software shouldn't be able to forge a reply that's convincing enough to require another request for verification, but maybe there isn't an obvious cryptographic solution here and I'm missing something
