[twit.social/@chrisshaw] @ourcornishfarm totally agree! A lot of people on the fediverse also have their own blogs. It's all part of the indieweb and it totally rocks#mastodon #indieweb #fediverse (https://twit.social/@chrisshaw/110734037186077458)

I had a lengthy post written about strategies on how to browse the internet without distraction. But after writing it I realized that it in essence it boiled down into two practices:... (https://fed.brid.gy/r/https://ghordano.com/posts/anti-scrolling-strategy/)
#
[tantek]
^ odd. Why Bridgy Fed link instead of post permalink [snarfed]
#
[snarfed]
I don't know? I'm not familiar with how links end up here, maybe a question for [aaronpk]?
#
[snarfed]
is Loqi searching for hashtags in the fediverse, and it found that one that was federated from a web site via BF?
#
sknebel
probably
#
sknebel
fed.brid.gy links end up here regularly
#
aaronpk
isn't fed.brid.gy the "canonical" url for the post as far as the fediverse is concerned?
#
[snarfed]
right. Mastodon required it to be on the same domain that was serving it, hence those /r/ redirect links
#
[tantek]
I don't think that happens when Loqi picks up my "federated" posts though

"Two anniversaries today: microformats (18y) and POSSE (11y).... (https://fed.brid.gy/r/https://tantek.com/2023/171/t1/anniversaries-microformats-posse)"
#
sknebel
(first example I found)
#
[tantek]
interesting, maybe I was seeing Loqi's direct polling of my site from another source
#
sknebel
right, your posts are also showing up directly from your site
#
sknebel
since its in the list of feeds Loqi subscribes to

[manton.org] I still believe we should welcome Threads to the fediverse, but the news that ActivityPub seems far off has soured my experience posting manually to Threads from my microblog. They grew too big, too quickly. Meanwhile, sounds like Tumblr’s ActivityPub effort has also stalled. (https://www.manton.org/2023/07/18/i-still-believe.html)

[mastodon.social/@villasbc] After yet another hard reset for my #indieweb presence, my first real #blog post: about my studies and experiments with StretchText, the arcane, blessed and cursed idea of text that grows to the size of your hunger (and patience)https://victor.villas/articles/stretch (https://mastodon.social/@villasbc/110737415561881567)

[stefanbohacek.online/@stefan] @design_law Things I love:- people using alt text and #AccessibleHashtags - being part of the #OpenWeb / #IndieWeb - lots of creative, caring people - easy to make #CreativeBots - seeing cool domain names#fediverse (https://stefanbohacek.online/@stefan/110737601818870483)
#
[tantek]
what is a hard reset
#
Loqi
It looks like we don't have a page for "hard reset" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "hard reset is ____", a sentence describing the term)

[hachyderm.io/@mariyadelano] Developers and anyone working in #softwareEngineering:What do you like to read for work or in your spare time? (That's related to your job or code more generally). Trying to get a list of content that's actually good and read by real people vs propped up by algorithms.Send links... (https://hachyderm.io/@mariyadelano/110737693468842178)
