jimw There is still this hole in blogging tools that I find strange -- something database-driven that publishes a static site. You either have SSGs that build from the filesystem or database, or totally database-driven sites. There's not much that gives you a database-driven editing environment that then publishes a static site. And then all of the

jimw I guess Blogger or Movable Type would be the models of what I'm talking about, but neither seems relevant these days.

History mode fixes Webmentions and the SEO issues but doesn’t work on GitHub Pages. There might be a hack using a 404.html page, but I’d hate to resort to a hack....
