[Al_Abut] That’s an interesting take. Makes me nostalgic for Blogger. You didn’t have to use blogspot, you could do your own hosting and it would ftp everything. So it was the best of both worlds - an easy to use web app that I could use at home and work, with all of the files hosted on my own Dreamhost partition.

[Al_Abut] I wonder if AWS could be a modern way to solve the self-hosting problem? Basically something simple like Bear as a web app but you also get the keys to your own setup behind the scenes and it automates the hard part of setting it up.
