Loqi [@rye] If you run internet-facing services and care about blast radius, determinism, and auditability, this one’s for you.... (https://ioc.exchange/@rye/115726348282660687)

ulhar4409 rye's deer pfp (particularly with the shirt collar) gives me the impression they *might* be a furry, but i the topic doesn't seem to be brought up on their profile otherwise? a shame, i'd really enjoy seeing more website furries

Loqi [adactio.com] Blog Alarm Clock | Brad Frost See, I’ve always compared that building pressure of need-to-blog to being constipated (which makes the resultant blog post like having a very satisfying bowel movement), but maybe Brad’s analogy is better. Maybe. (https://adactio.com/links/22303)

[tantek] what is why blog
#
Loqi why post is a question that can help you post things more intentionally, perhaps less or more often, and provide motivation to post on your own site instead of social media silos or in addition for more distribution per the POSSE method https://indieweb.org/why_blog
#
[tantek] why post << Because the blog alarm clock goes off in your head: https://bradfrost.com/blog/post/blog-alarm-clock/ or because you feel constipated: https://adactio.com/links/22303

Loqi ok, I added "Because the blog alarm clock goes off in your head: https://bradfrost.com/blog/post/blog-alarm-clock/ or because you feel constipated: https://adactio.com/links/22303" to the "See Also" section of /why_post https://indieweb.org/wiki/index.php?diff=106778&oldid=103916

Loqi [@artlung] #IndieWeb Zoom events on https://events.indieweb.org/ are open to anyone around the world, though we do speak English. If I felt better about my spotty Spanish I'd probably try to host one. Our world wide web is absolutely and resolutely international. (https://xoxo.zone/@artlung/115731147617621980)
