[tantek] Alright, "HisVirusness" and "WeirdWriter" seem to be hash tagging all their posts with indieweb whether their post is about the indieweb or not. I've noticed for a while. It's not horrible but it's also not the intent of the stream. I suggest blocking posts from both until either shows up and asks / starts using #indieweb to only mean posts about the InideWeb. cc aaronpk
# Loqi [@readbeanicecream] I have decided to try something a little different. I am going to include my social media posts here, as well. So, you can follow me on my socials or just follow me on my own site!... (https://mastodon.social/@readbeanicecream/115873604327326261)
# Loqi [@terminaltilt] I have officially chopped down my Linktree and moved to a self-hosted @linkstack instance. I made the switch because I am tired of proprietary silos tracking every click. With LinkStack, I own my data and I am supporting a FOSS project that respects user freedom.... (https://climatejustice.social/@terminaltilt/115873916724811859)

# Loqi It looks like we don't have a page for "LinkStack" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "LinkStack is ____", a sentence describing the term)

# Loqi [@neonreflections] Building software is one thing, making it intuitive to use is another. In retrospect, it feels obvious that hiding Quiet Portal's "create account" view three clicks away from the home page wasn't the best idea. # Loqi [@dtm] I’m thinking of including a page of RSS links on my website, so that people can discover new content made by actual artists and writers. Sites I like, people I know, new shit I discover.... (https://mastodon.cc/@dtm/115877320790152254)

# Loqi [@Panstag] That’s when I learned something most blogging advice ignores: new blogs don’t get traffic from SEO first. Search engines don’t trust fresh sites yet.... (https://mastodon.social/@Panstag/115877243272692868)

# Loqi [@dtm] I’ve added a Community Feed page where people who sign up can have their RSS links included. You have be a member of the circus, but it’s nearly free. # Loqi [@dtm] One strategy I’ve seen is those who provide an RSS feed that is basically a long excerpt that requires you to visit the site in order the finish reading.
