[miklb] so I’m setting up a WordPress site in Amazon Lightsail with their one-click Bitnami and it’s quite interesting.

[miklb] just very different than provisioning a VPS and using wp cli. Pretty well documented.

[miklb] I want this install to only be running stable releases of everything so I just need a rock solid WP base.

[miklb] no, I switched back to stable release as it was breaking my admin. I need to debug locally.

[miklb] but first I’m going to switch to all of my microblogging to a new domain and keep miklb.com just for tech & food blogging.

[miklb] short notes about any topic, including politics, photos, likes replies, etc.

[miklb] I know I could have differentiated feeds and what not with a single install, but went this route. I really like the idea of all of that being at michaelbishop.me and just linkblog/posts/articles/ being on my old blog

[mrkrndvs] Realised I have really poor permalinks in regards to my 'other' site which I am exploring many of the potentials of the IndieWeb. Just searched the wiki and found the stock standard WordPress information https://indieweb.org/permalink. Wondering what the custom codes are to change it to what say chrisaldrich has /kind/reply/etc. At the moment mine read /post/reply/etc
