jeremycherfas Torn between Formcraft Premium and Wp Simple Pay plugins to accept Stripe Payments. Anyone have any experience with either?

raretrack So my December indieweb itch is to move from having WP as a test blog to making it my main home page, but then what to do with my Known stream? Can you aggregate your Known stream into WP (via RSS or something)? Or do they have to stay separate?

jeremycherfas I have my known stream integrated into a sidebar on my main site (but it isn't WP).

jeremycherfas You can use any RSS widget. And the nice thing is, you can specificy which of your Known post kinds you want to show, and maybe even have different widgets for different ones.

jeremycherfas You could also use an RSS feeder to insert posts from Known into the main content. I used to use a plugin for that. Can't remmber what it was called.

raretrack That's handy. I don't think I'd want everything from Known shown, just things like articles. I'll have a search for plugins like that.

jeremycherfas The one I used added everything in the feed as a draft post. But as you can specify which items you want in the feed, there might not be any need to go to draft first.

jeremycherfas Back in the day I was using Yahoo Pipes to create an RSS feed of things that didn't have one, and there was often cruft in the feed, hence the need to go to draft.

raretrack Hmm I've installed the plugin and set it to import but it's not importing anything. Have subscribed to the exact same feed URL in my RSS reader and it shows correctly. Diving through the settings again!

raretrack that's bizarre, despite the import saying imported nothing, one imported post has actually appeared!

raretrack main thing is that using the posts-only Known RSS feed URL it's only importing posts (articles), which is exactly the behaviour I wanted :)

raretrack and (d'oh moment here!) all the posts have actually imported. reason I couldn't see them is because they weren't on page 1 and the WP plugin doesn't have unlimited scrolling! *facepalm*

[andrea_arbogast @GWG after updating to the new post kinds, I can’t publish anything with the plugin enabled. After hitting publish, I get a 404 when I click on “view post”, and it doesn’t show on the main page of the site. When I disable the plugin everything works as expected
