GWG So I would replace it with a widget placement

jackjamieson Ah, I was just going to say it'd be nice to have a widget area at the top of the page, right where that menu is

jackjamieson And I think you're right, I would tend to use a plugin for social links so I have more flexibility

GWG My fork is going to be a bit leaner

GWG But no core functionality reductions

GWG Once it is stable, it shouldn't require much maintenance

GWG It is already pretty developed
