tw2113 back of my head always liked the idea of owning your content, and pushing content out from your own location to wherever, but in terms of "indieweb" as a collective term, the first time I can actively recall hearing about it is from this post https://christianheilmann.com/2019/01/15/a-more-complicated-web/

tw2113 so the idea and concepts behind it all clicked right away, even if the actual technologies and such involved and on the wiki are rather new to me

tw2113 on top of that, i've been using WordPress for close to a decade now, I believe, and I do web development for a career

tw2113 so programming/making tools for such topics would pique my interests as well

sknebel was there any followup on https://petitions.classicpress.net/posts/58/core-support-for-modern-microformats-v2 outside that? if not, maybe sharing the issues with the existing plugins (and why themes are not a great solution, even though that should be obvious...) could help? (although I fully understand if your reaction is "don't want to spend time arguing there")
