#[Rose]Does anyone else wish that when they made a photo post (via Quill/OwnYourGram/anything except via WP) that the first photo was made into the featured photo? And/or that photos were shared via Bridgy?
#sknebel[Rose]: if photos are marked up bridgy should share them
#sknebeland if it's a photo post, they should be marked up with u-photo

#[Rose]Bridgy is not sharing photos, I created a post via Quill today and it went to Twitter pictureless
#Loqi[Rosemary Orchard] I’ve been playing with Integromat recently! I’m still using and loving Zapier, but this can do some things Zapier can’t – and vice versa!

#[asuh]Anyone here using a VPS with Managed WordPress? Dreamhost has completely dropped the ball in the last 24+ hours with their VPS, letting two of my WP client sites be offline for about 26 hours straight. Their support is non-existent.
#[Rose]I have several sites on just regular shared hosting with Hetzner and am happy
#[Rose]And also a VPS with them, where I have a few test sites.
#[asuh]Hetzner looks nice, thanks. Too bad it doesn’t take USD. VPS is necessary because of high monthly traffic, too much for shared.

#[grantcodes]Wpengine is like the top level one but expensive, I've also used flywheel which is really nice and more reasonably priced. I moved my wordpress sites to a aws lightsail server and use a management cli thing that installs and sets up all the requirements.
#[asuh]Interesting, I’m seeing WPengine and Flywheel probably being competitors, similarly priced but a bit more expensive than I was hoping for. Flywheel keeps coming up in podcasts and blog posts so I’m aware of them more now.
#[asuh]I’m also reviewing Linode and Digital Ocean but I see they’re a lot more hands on with everything as well, requiring more DevOps than I was hoping for since it’s not entirely my site. I want to outsource the security to the hosting company if I can find something reasonably priced. Bluehost and LiquidWeb seem to have this as well but I know they started on the Dreamhost level of hosting
