#[Lewis_Cowles]I have been with Dreamhost since the early 2000's
#[Lewis_Cowles]I have not found many of their upsells to be things I would like. DreamObjects lost 100GB of data
#sknebel[Lewis_Cowles]: was that a Slack reply? those don't work well, because in the other chat systems it's just a standalone message

#[Lewis_Cowles][sknebel] it was. I shall stop threading
#[Lewis_Cowles]Back to DH. I was never notified they had lost any data. I never noticed because the person I'd set it up for has a rather complex set of rules protecting them. Luckily it was only DreamHost that lost data. +1 for a tiered strategy
#[Lewis_Cowles]There is a Dreamhost plugin I like for small sites which makes a backup and pushes it to DreamObjects. You can then use s3 cli to move it elsewhere too. Point & click multi-tiered backups

#Kevin91Hi everyone !Has anyone already seen an online foss reservation module that can be used for sport classes. My wife is a yoga teacher, I developed her website and she'd like her students to book their classes online. I do only see very expensive modules and not even sure it respects privacy for everyone. With a loyalty card system allowing to book 10

#[jgmac1106]@kevin91 we do have RSVPs but yiur wif's clients wont have sites that can rsvp. Check out snipcart. Its a shopping cart fro SSGs and waaay lighter than WooCommerce...
#[jgmac1106]Once you start with WooCommerce sites often get too heavy for shared hosting
