aaronpk the "wordpress way" i would expect this to work is that there'd be a guest user account created for the author of the thing you're reposting, and then on your blog their post would appear with them as the author

chrisaldrich I think the issue (known?) is the Marty's posts has emoji in it, so when you save as draft or publish, there's a filter that deletes everything out of the post.

chrisaldrich Post Kinds plugin doesn't handle emoji well/at all.

chrisaldrich perhaps a micropub issue? It could also be an issue with the parser in Post Kinds timing out?

chrisaldrich or the root site not responding when the parser hits it... I have seen that sporadically.

chrisaldrich And when I try Marty's post, it shows up for me as well, but only because Post Kinds parser excerpts a short enough piece so that it doesn't get the emoji.
