[jgmac1106] [chrisaldrich] I tried two: *Event Calendar WD* and *Event Organiser* I need a to a dep dive to find my history

#
[jgmac1106] but memory probably serves me incorrectly that Event organiser was easier to modify

#
[jgmac1106] more POSH than functions

#
[jgmac1106] what i have active now.

#
[jgmac1106] What I did was a search for all old mf and delete

#
[jgmac1106] and then added mf2

#
[chrisaldrich] Ping me when you find it and we'll see if we can get it working.

#
[jgmac1106] will do..it was fun...need to figure it [Sadik_Shahadu] and I need to rebuild their WordPress site

#
[jgmac1106] we exported the site...need to get a site back up and imported.....but always difficult....may go the archive versus import route...

#
[jgmac1106] I may try to import into SemPress and see what happens

#
[jgmac1106] for literacyeveryday I am using the givingpress theme, but I can publish post kinds that work....

#
[jgmac1106] ...tooo many charities....raise your hand if you wanna help an hour or so a month with some website WordPress help......DM if you wish...signing off...gonna try to get away with kids for two days (except for teaching online)

[xavierroy] I think I just figured it now. I had not enabld the Set User to Represent Site URL dropdown after upgrading the IndieAuth plugin
#
[xavierroy] Once I did that, I could log in to indiebookclub
#
[xavierroy] For post Kinds, you meant the UI
#
[xavierroy] They seem to work only when there is an URL in the field, right?
#
[xavierroy] I think I got confused. The citation you are referring to is the URL in the Response Properties section, right
#
[xavierroy] oh ok. Understood it now

[jgmac1106] Why not just bookmark and publish private or public?

#
[jgmac1106] Or does this make them more portable for you?

SpencerDub Good morning, IndieWeb! Would anyone happen to have an example of a "clean" child theme for Autonomie? I'd like to start working on a child theme for my site, but I don't know what embeds or enqueued I need to set up.
#
SpencerDub I recall Matthias saying he was considering uploading one to GitHub, but I haven't been able to find it yet. 😊

#
[Michael_Beckwit a child theme only really needs the style.css file to make it a valid theme, so you shouldn’t need to handle any embeds/enqueues yourself
#
[Michael_Beckwit that’d still get handled by the parent
#
[Michael_Beckwit biggest thing to know is that functions.php get loaded from both, child first I believe.

[jgmac1106] Yes

#
[jgmac1106] You just use the url of the comment
