[manton] @GWG Got a report today about the WP plugin's switching to JSON Feed 1.1 because of the "authors" (plural) field. What do you think about adding "author" too for compatibility for a little while, until enough apps support the new field name? (I'm about to look at the code, but thought I'd ask you first.)
