Looking for a new map provider

can't comment much on that detail, I've been partial to leafletjs for years for when i've had the choice to make

[tw2113]: How about 3?

honestly haven't dealt with the topic as a whole in awhile, so I can't say

[tw2113]: No, I lost one, found 3 new ones

With 9 static map APIs, they may knock me down.... but I will map again

Hopefully some of them will work for [chrisaldrich] and [dave]

[tw2113] I just came back across https://github.com/tw2113/Goodreads-In-WordPress. Correct me if I'm wrong, the readme seemed too sparse to confirm, but this is just a widget that makes calls to Goodreads to display their data on your site, right? It's not something more complicated like https://lordofthemoon.com/blog/2020/01/exporting-goodreads-reviews-to-a-wordpress-blog/ which imports all the data so you can keep it?

Correct. It just displays, not process and import
#
[tw2113]
Does store API results as a transient so not constantly pinging them

Sounds fun for a future project
#
[chrisaldrich]
It would be cool if that export post could be turned into a plugin...
#
[chrisaldrich]
Or perhaps post kinds could parse book sites and import books into a specific book post type database for creating a /personal_library

What are WordPress Themes?

WordPress Themes are a simple way to quickly change the look and feel of a WordPress website primarily by use of CSS https://indieweb.org/WordPress/Themes

I believe more structure stuff... but I should revisit it

@jamesvandyne
Found out that the #indieweb plugin Bridgy (posts/backfeeds replies/likes from twitter into my site) will attach the featured image of a post to Twitter. Now I want a dedicated “Tweet-through-your-blog WordPress client” app.
