Had too much WordPress client work this week. Just playing around with plain html and CSS to get reasonable layouts with minimal elements and as little CSS as possible. Some basics to come down 🙂
#
GWG
[chrisbergr]: I have to fix the media markup for beko, it shouldn't be showing a name property.
#
[chrisbergr]
Is this something complicated?
#
GWG
[chrisbergr]: No, just it's an example of how trying to display one of the missing fields...name for media...produced a markup problem
#
GWG
I am going to try to redo the photo template for that reason
#
[chrisbergr]
Is there an example where the photo template with markup problem is used? On beko's site?

Yes, and on mine
#

I just need to remove the p-name
#
GWG
But still show the name

Your photo of the stone arch bridge looks beautiful 🙂

Can I ask you why you had chosen to put the 'h-entry' on the body tag instead of on the article tag of your entry?
#
GWG
[chrisbergr]: Did you read my article on the subject?
#
GWG
I always put the top level h- property on the body
#
GWG
So on archive pages, h-feed, otherwise h-entry
#
GWG
It's because WordPress has body class
#
[chrisbergr]
No I guess I missed it.
#
[chrisbergr]
Is this the only reason?
#
GWG
Yes, doesn't make a difference
#
GWG
I picked the habit up from pfefferle
#
[chrisbergr]
Yes, noticed it on his page too.

I don't do this, because on my next version of my page I'll have multiple h-feeds on my front page. And I don't want multiple hcards in one article on the single pages
