# [chrisaldrich] GWG++ for including "cloudy with a chance of meatballs" in the weather code for Simple Location. 🙂
# [chrisaldrich] I haven't used it (yet), but noticed it randomly while doing a manual post the other day....
# [chrisaldrich] It's been a while since I've gone through them all, but I'm due for a review soon. Which Easter egg should I look out for?
# reed when you use the Press This bookmarklets, do you see the classic editor? in mine I always get the block one, defeating the purpose of the indie press this
# reed gotcha :( I was hoping they'd be my safety net now that indiegenous is not working
# [chrisaldrich] reed, what is the default post interface for your site? Somewhere there's a setting to default to Classic/Gutenberg I think.
# [chrisaldrich] If it's set to block editor, you'll probably see that first...
# reed default post is Article
# reed go figure where that setting is... for my user the default editor is Classic.. When I hit "new post" from wp-admin I get the classic editor

# [chrisaldrich] The setting is at /wp-admin/options-writing.php
# [chrisaldrich] I would think if you hit new post and get classic editor then the press this parts should work.
# reed well... it doesn't.. both profile.php and options-writing.php default to classic editor
# [chrisaldrich] I use some modifications of the press this bookmarklets to work with the Post Kinds Plugin and they default to classic as I'd expect: https://boffosocko.com/2017/08/11/post-kinds-plugin-for-wordpress/#Bookmarklet%20Configuration
# [chrisaldrich] I just tried the press this boomkarklet from /wp-admin/tools.php and got the classic editor (albeit incredibly pared down) on my installation....
# reed chrisaldrich: interesting... your code behaves differently than the bookmarklets I have
# [chrisaldrich] I wonder if having jetpack and their settings might affect the output?
# reed I created a custom bookmarklet from the code in your post and it works correctly

# [chrisaldrich] It's been ages since I made them, but they were based on either the original press this or maybe the indieweb press this bookmarklets. My JS skills are just this side of non-existent.
# [chrisaldrich] you might be able to compare the code in the one you've got to see what you might tweak to get them to work as you want/expect.... the one I just used was dramatically different from mine for Post Kinds Plugin....
# reed same :) I'll do that
