GWG jujudario: No, those provide functionality.

GWG The MF2 plugin is an attempt to account for non-MF2 supporting themes, so its a limited experience

[chrisaldrich] For the tape, iirc IndieWeb friendly WordPress themes will contain a declaration that they have MF2 support and if so, the MF2 plugin will automatically know to turn itself off or not run even if it is installed and activated. Of course knowing that you don't need it lets you have one fewer plugin you need to have and run.

[tw2113_Slack_] while i would have liked having this one done because it removes 1 line of code, i like my other contribution this cycle better, as it actually points people to the Links Manager plugin and helps install it
