GWG I've been playing with the front-page.php and home.php templates. Front-page is the template used on your root, regardless of whether it's a page or list of posts and home is used for the homepage list of posts unless you have a front page template

GWG I modified it so front page behaves the same but if you go to a second page, it will use the home template
