[tw2113_Slack_]Finally decided to give Algolia Search a whirl on apiratelifeforme. Mostly because I am part of the support team at work for the semi-official plugin, so real time experience will help me 😄

petermolnarI completely agree that "Why have your own website" and "Why Indie Web" are too washed together, and I'd like to propose of splitting them. "Why have your own website" != "Why Indie Web" - a website can be one's hub/home/portfolio without any indieweb building blocks.
petermolnarMaybe we could compose an alternative to /why, which separates website/indieweb, and on the next level (h3 to be specific) separates the bullet points/reasonings per audience?
[Will_Monroe]Hello everyone, after seeing some modifications of WordPress themes that have indieweb functionality, I've been trying to tinker with the creation of a child theme. There are many, many guides out there. But I was wondering if you are aware of any child theme tutorials, videos, resources specifically aimed at folks who desire the integration of indieweb features.
[Will_Monroe]Thanks @GWG, I'm going to take another shot at creating the basic files (styles.css, functions.php) again and be in touch. Seemed like the simplest task and yet, I kept getting error messages from my WP theme chooser interface. The styles.css file wasn't being recognized.
