BillBennett Yesterday I posted this message: "I'm using Autonomie Theme, based on SemPress. It's fine, but it produces custom post type archives, but I don't use the custom post types. BillBennett Yes. The /type/standards archive doesn't show up in SemPress, but it does show up in Autonomie. My only fear is that the archive is identical to the main post archive... I only use the Standard type, so ithe archive is redundant in the same way an author archive is redundant on a single user site

GWG So, shows up as in linked somewhere and you want to hide it? The URL would be there..if you want to hide the link, that's either a feature request or edit of the theme

BillBennett Yes, I think I can edit it out of the .php, I've been hunting for mention of post-format-archive or words to that effect without much success.
