jeremycherfas The reason I don't want featured is that my theme displays the image as a hero above the post if it is set.

jeremycherfas To my way of thinking, u-photo-featured, or whatever it is, is metadata for mf2 consumers, it should have no impact on my layout.

GWG So, let's go to image. If something is a featured image, I intend to add that support. But, you noted the first image...which means I need to identify images in content...which is a harder proposition.
