jeremycherfas The reason I don't want featured is that my theme displays the image as a hero above the post if it is set.

#
jeremycherfas I do not expect an image to be shown twice unless I place it twice.

#
jeremycherfas To my way of thinking, u-photo-featured, or whatever it is, is metadata for mf2 consumers, it should have no impact on my layout.

#
jeremycherfas I must have missed the link to the post. Will look now.

#
jeremycherfas Replied, as requested.

#
jeremycherfas So, tell me what mf2 Bridgy uses and I will ensure that my theme offers that.

#
jeremycherfas !tell snarfed I am happy to have Bridgy be more opinionated the the Syndication Links plugin, but where can I discover its opinions?

#
jeremycherfas It should have a title, a photo if there is one (featured if present, first if not) and then text up to approx. 400 characters or the first <--more--> tag

#
jeremycherfas It is great that you can fall back to trying to send the right info, but if I knew what the right infor was, I could ensure that it was sent so your plugin would not have to do anything extra, at least for me.

#
jeremycherfas No, because I am crafting them by hand.

#
jeremycherfas But that does not relate to a post on the website.

#
jeremycherfas https://indieweb.social/@etp/111007037638773399 points back to a post on the website, but has no image. I could have the same image as the previous one (the podcast cover) if I set that as featured, but then it would display twice. And it could have the first ~400 chars

#
jeremycherfas OK. Is featured then double posting my theme doing that

#
jeremycherfas Looking at the mf2, the theme inserts almost nothing. That should be something I can address.

#
jeremycherfas It is a Child of Independent Publisher, and if I knew what Beridgy were looking for specifically, I could try to tinker with the templates.

#
jeremycherfas It isn't even offering e-content at the moment, or e-summary

#
jeremycherfas If you're looking at HTML to get e-content, you're never going to create e-summary.
