[jeffpaul] 👋 howdy folks, reaching out here and particularly pinging [pfefferle] (because of the A8C role focused on some things here) as I think there _may_ be something in the indieweb WordPress stack that's breaking pingbacks. Aaron Jorbin, Jonathan Desrosiers, and I all have various indieweb plugins active and all saw that our pingbacks didn't work on our posts to Matt's on https://ma.tt/2024/01/birthday-gift/. [jeffpaul] report this (e.g. GitHub repo somewhere?) so we can try and triangulate similar plugins active in common and help triage what might be breaking there?

[jeffpaul] There's also Aaron, Jonathan, and my posts that should have logged pingbacks to each other but none of us are seeing those. But also, no I have not asked Matt directly about his site.

GWG [pfefferle]: Every time we get a bug report, I have mixed feelings. I'm sad we missed something and happy someone cared enough to file it

[jeffpaul] I choose to take the latter path, else my buggy code would have me permanently curled up in a ball in the corner of my office.
