bearina. my question now is: can I implement this without the Post Types plugin? I'm not a developer but can find my way around PHP if needed. I have a child theme I can adjust and although I use a plugin for CPTs I could probably do it myself.

bearina. Can I make a custom post type "photo" (or similar) and use the microformats needed to give it the ability to get detected by other IndieWeb pages as a photo post? Is this what /photo /multiphoto and /video means?

GWG I write the Post Kinds plugin though I haven't done a refresh in a bit because it works for me... but I can comment on the state of indieweb WordPress if you need help

bearina. Oh I see it has the option to add microformats to all block-based themes. I'll have to find out if my theme is block-based but I think it's not since it's a visual page builder

bearina. I see! I'm thinking a lot about how to approach my website going forward and decided that the Gutenberg editor is really nice for blog posts. Pages are built with the visual builder Divi.
