hi all! I have the IndieAuth plugin's "Site User" setting set to "None," but when I log in, it still returns me=https://snarfed.org/author/ryandc , not me=https://snarfed.org/ . is that expected? can I get it to use me=https://snarfed.org/ instead?

None would only do author URL..of you set it, that makes it use your user for site root
#
[snarfed]
GWG sorry I'm having trouble following that. so...is there no way right now to have the IndieAuth plugin return site root (ie path / ) as `me`?
#
[snarfed]
wow, ok. so, I have two users - ryandc and ryan - and I've tried all three Site User options. setting it to None or ryan make it return me=https://snarfed.org/author/ryandc . setting it to ryandc makes it return me=https://snarfed.org/ . that is...the opposite of what I'd expect

Hmmm...
#
[snarfed]
or...maybe it's what I'd expect? maybe this options just needs more explanatory text? "who will represent the URL of the site" is maybe too terse
#
[snarfed]
yeah I guess I get it now. maybe the text just needs to be expanded

Interesting. Does the plugin install process ask a question like "Are you the only author on this site?" [Yes] [No, multiple authors]. That could make the selection more clear.
