Loqi[http://twitter.com/BarnabyWalters] @boagworld I'm working on an #indieweb variant which allows people to respond to my content across the web. The tech exists, just not used.
aaronpki don't think he's done much in the way of marking up the output format in microformats or doing the "b"/"t" content type things, so that's something you could build into it
Loqitantek: aaronpk left you a message on 3/25 at 10:42pm: I started working on a RelMeAuth implementation! https://github.com/aaronpk/RelMeAuth Going to integrate that into the indiewebcamp wiki soon!
tantekhey paulbooker - you're here! re: http://social.mozilla.org.uk/notice/443 - I use delegated OpenID on tantek.com and the indiewebcamp.com URL you reference is the latest advice AFAIK for setting up your own domain as an OpenID identity provider.
paulbookertantek: Mr @t :) I kind of overlooked that status.net allow a users profile to serve as an openID URI & you can login into any instance of status.net with a delegated OpenID so I think all my needs are met through status.net at least where I need microblogging too
barnabywaltersI have had a brief look at social igniter, whether or not I decide to use it will depend on how well it fits the way I see the structure working
aaronpkcool. I've only poked around with it a little, but I know brennan's pretty interested in the indieweb stuff too so it'd be great if you could put your efforts in the same codebase
barnabywaltersthe thing that I've had the most bother with has been syndication. sure I can push stuff out and get feedback back in, but the hassle of setting up an OAuth interface that I'll only ever use once has put me off everything apart from twitter so far

paulbookerI think there will be a significant number of Mozilla UK contributors that will probably not join social.mozilla.or.uk (and similarly for other MCS communties) so it would be great to install an Open ID server, any recommendations?
tantekwould be great to get mozillians.org to be an OpenID provider, and then just signing in there would get you an OpenID, which should be sufficient for Mozilla contributors UK or otherwise.
paulbookerThat's a great idea :) Do you know of any OpenID software that could be installed on Mozilla servers? It'll probably have to be something written in python / django *-)
