kylewm ben_thatmustbeme: one thing i learned from these folks -- consider making the URL uniquely identifiable without the slug, and have the slug just be for humans. so if you went to example.com/20140227/1/blog-post-title or example.com/20140227/1/edited-blog-post-title, it would redirect to the same place
