adactio I'm getting a bit sick of this attitude. When Marc Thiel—an events organiser—wanted to provide his talents and skills to boost the Indie web movement by organising an event, I suggested he raise that here in IRC. He got a really frosty reception because he wasn't (yet) doing things from his own website. So he was really put off the whole "indie web" label, and frankly I don't blame him.
