kylewm snarfed: really appreciate the pointers, sorry for all the back and forth! to recap, I'll go forward with making SyndicatedPost a child of Source (since that will be hard to change later), and for now do only discovery for the current Source with comments about how to do it better later (since that will be easier to upgrade later)
