Loqitantek: gRegor` left you a message on 6/21 at 10:37pm: I didn't have a solid answer (not very familiar with schema.org), but I said I suspect it's because mf2 have been around longer and are simpler, and tend to favor "what's actually in use" vs top-down ideas.
