bret ericholscher photo hosting is still a pain in the ass ime. Was using flickr but they stagnated and now are changing their relationship with their users from more of a traditional paid service to be more like other social networks. I have been researching amazon cloud drive / S3 as a replacement. I have not found anything very compelling beyond a data hosting service
