tantek FWIW I don't think I've ever been "able to quickly throw together new features" - or at least it never feels like it. I just always feel like I really need to document each step I take so that I can backtrack my (design) reasoning at any point, and so that anyone else interested in the same new feature can build upon my work instead of having to re-figure everything out.
