seekr KartikPrabhu: I did some software in Perl and PHP to produce what you see in the right-hand "Newswire" column. Now I'm mainly interested in finding alternatives to Facebook and Twitter for another site I'm working on. I'm hoping someone in this community will have some suggestions (I have found some via non-evilGoogle searches, but haven't had a chance to check 'em out yet).
