Jeena and KartikPrabhu after everything I read it looks like that you should use rel="alternate home" not rel="alternate feed" even though I think all the explanations are quite wage on why and it doesn't quite fit your and mine use of it where we want to link to different feeds for articles and notes, and not to a website-feed
