tantek interesting experience with posting a panoramic photo - IG limits photo aspect ratio so much that I used a different place (FB private comment) to post my "original" panoramic photo, then hotlinked that as an image host to publish on my own site, and manually POSSEd to IG: http://tantek.com/2016/205/t1/fromwhereirun-sfrc-top-of-hill-fox-coyote
