[chrisaldrich] jeremycherfas, usually child themes are more important when building on top of themes from the repository that will update in the future (so you won't overwrite your changes/work). SenPress (the child) is pretty solid and unlikely to change as much as SemPress (the parent), so you probably won't go too wrong in just hacking directly on top of the child theme.
