[markmhendrickso Perhaps when your current status has related content, you could simply have a banner up top calling out that status and linking to a filter for that info. That way you don't have to do any trickery to change content for users based on time or location. The banner gives visitors an option to view a certain side of you that is relevant to your current or near future activity.
