Perhaps try using the URL: "https://news.indieweb.org/en/miklb.com/2017/11/christian-heilmann-web-truths-the-web-is-better-than-any-other-platform-as-it-is-backwards-compatible-and-fault-tolerant/" as your u-syndication and see if that works. I don't think I've had luck with WordPress and the raw news.indieweb url, but the longer version has always worked.
