#[khurt]Hi all, I am in need of some help. I have been using an [Adobe Lightroom plug-in from Automattic](https://apps.wordpress.com/lightroom/) to export images direct from Lightroom to my self hosted WordPress blog. It worked flawlessly up until recently. Short after I installed and setup IndieAuth WordPress, the Lightroom export plugin started throwing errors and failed to export to WordPress. When I disable the IndieAuth WordPress plug-in, the Lightroo
#[khurt]fine.I don’t see anything in the apache error logs. What can I do to trouble shoot this? I would really like to use IndieAuth.
#Loqisgreger: [chrisaldrich] left you a message 1 day, 14 hours ago: Savemy.news: I was actually chatting with Ben Welsh last week and had added his tool at the /archival_copy page and added an archive section to /Indieweb_for_Journalism. Thanks for adding it to /PASTA as well.
#sgregerusing a bookmarklet in firefox for my bookmarking workflow, it never worked with github urls. recently ever more pages don't work. i vaguely remember it being related to some security model used on the github sites - could anybody point me in the right direction?
#sgregerironically, i probably bookmarked that explanation when i first researched it, but cannot find the bookmark :D
#sknebel[khurt]: this is total guess work (I'm not a wordpress user), but I imagine using the indieauth plugin removes the wordpress.com based login the lightroom plugin probably needs? I hope one of the wordpress-plugin devs will be around soon and can tell you more :)
#sknebelsgreger: the basic issue is that bookmarklets are run as JS of the page - but the page can have CSP in place that stops the script from running
#sgregersknebel: yes, that was the acronym i was after. thanks!
#sknebelthe best workaround currently is probably turning your bookmarklet into a browser extension, those as far as I know can ignore CSP when injecting scripts
#sgregergood point. and that's on the roadmap anyways, aiming to build upon treora's browser extension from iwc berlin
#sgreger...until then, it's copy-paste for bookmarking.
#[miklb]Mostly thinking right now of weekly roundups of what improvements and fixes have hit the WordPress plugins, then go from there.

#GWGIf I fiddle with the Audio Post Kind, you could do a Microcast
#[miklb]Doesn’t seem like we get those into the newsletter. All of yours and pfefferle and snarfeds hard work should be better publicized IMO that the WordPress IndieWeb ecosystem is continually improving.
#[miklb]I would attempt a microcast for IW WordPress stuff
#[miklb]I still have indiewp.com and would like to make it a community site for that, but until I get my personal sites sorted, figured could start as blog posts and syndicate to Indie News
#[miklb]Have been thinking about that site a bit, maybe have a theme switcher so people could visualize the existing theme ecosystem, albeit a small one currently, plus tutorials and plugin update announcements.

#sknebel[miklb]: roundups of news from wordpress land sound like they'd be nice to have, yes!
#sknebele.g. in recent discussions it came up that people that don't like spending their time in chat (which then always are a bit seperated from everything going on here) sometimes at least read the newsletter to keep up to date

#LoqiJust generated this week's newsletter! You still have a few minutes to make changes, and I'll re-generate it 10 minutes before it gets sent out at 3pm Pacific time. https://indieweb.org/this-week/2017-11-24.html

#tantek[miklb]++ nice post and analysis of how you decided to create a main public profile. definitely worth submitting to IndieNews!

#Loqitantek: ancarda left you a message 14 hours, 8 minutes ago: I have a question about the code of conduct. The discussion page has https://indieweb.org/code-of-conduct-feedback#Political_Orientation — was this resolved? As there’s both politics and ideology listed on the CoC. Are they different from political beliefs?
#tantek!tell ancarda AFAIK we never came to a specific conclusion regarding https://indieweb.org/code-of-conduct-feedback#Political_Orientation - worth iterating on perhaps with everything that's happened in the past year or so. It's more of a meta topic though so perhaps follow-up in #indieweb-meta? Thanks!

#[miklb]I would argue code-of-conduct discussions should be in the forum/channel that has the most eyes and chance for input.
#[miklb]tantek thanks. I will leave the decision whether my personal decision is worthy linking to the broader news feed.
