chrisaldrich There's certainly more to unpack than just a random site. Often sites are taking the failures of others and improving on them. Others may be creating entirely new and novel functionality that may be better IndieWebified from the start.

chrisaldrich As an example, Evergreen is an interesting reader which many here have discussed in the past, but it's taken a while to get it to nudge toward Indieweb friendliness, particularly given the baggage of legacy RSS.

tantek except that Linked Data is a specific sort of plumbing, whereas IndieWeb is about /principles first, including building user features first, with plumbing only as a means to an ends, that's the fundamental disagreement in perspective there
