ioomis this the right channel to discuss battlestations, battletops and all sorts of customization and modding? Is there anyone interested in this kind of things?
@xandy_ebooksnonsense indieweb principles, you could ever want, and a keyboard in over a year is hardly "a lot of Edge/Level Head and have severe decision paralysis when (twitter.com/_/status/962688187171733504)
[eddie]So in Microsub/Aperture, there are default “home” and “notifications” channels, and then you can add other desired channels. Is it just me, I don’t know what I would want in “home” so I just put everything in a named channel leaving home blank. That seems wasteful to have my default channel blank lol
ZegnatActually, yes, I have that with my reader too. I can subscribe to feeds and not put them in a folder perfectly fine, but I end up having a sort of catch-all “blogs” folder anyway.
[eddie]I’m almost starting to wonder if that should HAVE to exist for people? Like maybe the default is everyone has a home channel but then it can be deleted or renamed?
[eddie]Yeah in my thinking, as long as I can order channels, there isn’t a reason my reader would need to know that a Home channel “always exists”. Your “Home” channel can in essence be the top channel in your list. If you want to open to a default channel every time
[eddie]aaronpk, I feel like we might potentially find other special channels in the future. But Home in my mind definitely feels more “default” (ha! It’s even in the uid) than “special”

LoqiIt looks like we don't have a page for "fragmentioner" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "fragmentioner is ____", a sentence describing the term)
LoqiA fragmention is an extension to URL syntax that links and cites a phrase within a document by using a URL fragment consisting of the phrase itself, including whitespace https://indieweb.org/fragmention
