tantek rhiaro for socks I found 3 pairs fit all my use-cases, and could wash/dry as needed: 1. thin and short "smart wool" (lime green in the photo), 2. short black running socks (wore), and 3. medium length Stance trail running socks (the colorful ones on the right side of the photo with the two black stripes).
