Zegnat According to Wikipedia, “browsers normally delete session cookies when the user closes the browser”. This matches my expectation. And in my mind, me being logged in affect my current browsing session and should not affect all future sessions as well. If I want to stay logged in *across sessions*, that’s what the checkbox is for.
