jgmac1106 [zegnat] it is a good description, I can tell people a webmention is a protocol that allows to websites to talk together and let one know the other website mentioned it somewhere, for webmentions to work with social media we have to use a second tool as well called Bridgy that backfeeds a psot about a website back to that site as as a webmention
